Das von mir lang antizipierte Crayon Physics Deluxe ist endlich raus. Den finalen Trailer könnt ihr im Kloonigames Blog ansehen. Den Crayon Physics Prototypen gibts hier zum kostenlosen downloaden. Viel Spaß! Ich werd’ es heute kaufen (sollte es mit Paypal zu kaufen sein) und antesten. So lang drauf gewartet. Das wird mich zwar einige Zeit von meiner 360 ablenken, aber hoffentlich nur bis Ende Januar – wenn endlich Flock über XBLA released wird. Januar 09 – einer schöner Monat. :)

Die Nacht zum Dienstag war weitaus angenehmer. Zwar auch unruhig aber lange nicht so schlimm wie gestern. Habe ich erwähnt das ich meine neue Bettwäsche liebe? Traumhaft! Gestern hab ich mir “Bully – Die Ehrenrunde” besorgt… Und das werd’ ich mir heute geben. Schön in den Sessel plautzen. Aber erstmal… Arbeit…

So. Simpsons hab ich durch. Dort bleiben mir nur noch ein paar Challenges, weil ich nicht alle Achievements habe. Neu bestellt habe ich mir Rayman Raving Rabbids für den “schnellen Spaß”. Für meine neu entdeckte Puzzlegames-leidenschaft bin ich Flock gestoßen. Und packs auf die Liste für Muste-Haves.

Seit Ende letzten Monats hab’ ich ja endlich meine Xbox360. Hatte auch schon ein paar kurzweilige Stunden Videospiele-Entertainment und ausgezeichnete Home-Entertainment Erlebnisse (zusammen mit meinem AMS150). Weil mich aber nach neuen Games dürstet obwohl ich weder Simpsons noch Kung Fu Panda durchhab, möchte ich hier eine Liste mit, noch zu kaufenden Musthaves ablegen, welche ich hiermit anfange.

Endlich. Nach Nunmehr 8 Jahren hat Codename Eagle (Einige von euch kennen meine Passion für dieses Game) endlich einen würdigen Nachfolger… Nun ja – zumindest scheint es so. Battlefield Heroes scheint eine Granate zu werden. Hab’ heute das Video gesehen und war extrem begeistert.
Verdammt, wenn’s nich völlig kostenlos wär, ich würd’s sogar kaufen.

Und endlich auch den allerersten Super Mario Bros. teil durchgezockt. Fehlt nur noch der komische “Steckrüben-teil” (also Mario Bros. 2) dann sind die Classics durch. Was gibts sonst noch für Arcade Teile von Mario und seinem Bruder Luigi?

Endlich hab’ ich es geschafft. Ich glaub’ ich spiel jetzt schon zwei Wochen dran. Ich war leider einer der wenigen die kein Nintendo Entertainment System ihr Eigen nennen konnten, deswegen hab’ ichs jetzt hinter mich gebracht: Ich habbe “Super Mario Bros. 3″ endlich durchgespielt. Was für eine Singleplayer-Kampagne, was für Spielspaß, was für ein ernüchterndes Ende.
Ach! Egal! Ich habe die Prinzessin befreit und das ist schließlich alles was zählt. Hat Spaß gemacht – auch wenns an einigen Ecken frustrierend war (Welt 6 & 7) alles in allem ein sehr nettes Spiel für den kleinen Spielehunger.
Wozu hat man denn schließlich Rechentechnik und Gamepad – wenn nicht zum Emulator zocken?! Hach: Die guten alten Zeiten! ;)

Getreu dem Motto “Geld kann man nie genug haben” macht sich EA auf noch mehr Fans der Battelfield-Serie zu vergraulen. Diesmal auf der XBOX360 und der PS. Das teuflische Machwerk trägt den Namen “Battlefield Bad Company” und soll die Frostbite-Engine nutzen.
Nach dem Debakel das EA aktuell mit Battlefield2 hat bezweifliche ich ernsthaft das dieses Game einen Absatzmarkt wie seinerzeit Battlefield42 oder Battlefield2 findet. Totgesagte leben ja bekanntlich länger. Falls Dice & EA mit “Battlefield2142″ tatsächlich mal ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt abliefern, könnte sogar BF:Bad Company ein Erfolg sein.

Anyways, on to something more interesting: yesterday the demo of Crashday got released. I’m waiting for this game at least 3 years now. Needless to say I was quick to download the 310 Megabyte package. And Boy – it was awesome. I’m surely gonna buy it to support the developers and you should too! Check out some screenshots, and read some (german) reactions about the demo.

I’ve just played through Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and I’m quite torn. I feel stunned and disturbed because of the story. The 1st third of it is quite amazing as a crime plot unfolds. However after the chracters and their background are built up, the story takes a giant leap that’s hard to follow and then just completely freaks out on you. I’m not saying I don’t like it. The beginning is quite good and even after the 2nd third it is intriguing, it’s just that it sometims seems too unrealistic. David Cage would have done better developing the crime/hunter story more.
Fahrenheit borrows style elements from Matrix and mixes it up with an X-Files kind of theme. The action sequences in which you have to press a bunch of keys or hack your cursor keys till they die are fun. If you’ve enjoyed Track&Field or World Games on your C64 you’ll like that.
The game may not take the adventure genre to new heights – but it surely is a breathe of fresh air in the dusty corner that is this genre. Fahrenheit has become an interactive movie with different strands. You decide how the story develops as you progress through the game. Whatever you do has consequences that have an impact on the story. You will have 3 different endings – and you decide if you get the happy end or not.
Quantic Dream have made Fahrenheit a touching and emotional experience of a game, even for the older ones. The amazing storyline, the relationship between the main characters and a totally groundbreaking soundtrack that always fits the scenes and never annoys – make a game that is extremely fun to play.
Pros: Well developed story and characters, amazing soundtrack, unique experience switching between the characters, lively environment, cool bonus content that you enable while playing, relatively low system-requirements.
Cons: Annoying keyboard controls (buy a control pad), graphics not up to standards, with ~8 hours a bit too short.
